By using this service, you agree to use it lawfully, carefully, and within the limits described by each tool.

Permitted use

You may use the service for learning, troubleshooting, administration, and authorized security validation. You are responsible for the targets you submit and for complying with applicable law and third-party policies.

Restrictions

Do not use the service for scanning or testing without authorization, denial-of-service activity, evasion of security controls, open-relay behavior, spam, or transmission of confidential material.

The EICAR mail tool is limited to authorized scanner testing and always sends to postmaster@ plus the input domain.

Results and availability

Diagnostics are provided on an as-is basis. Results may be delayed, incomplete, inconsistent between public sources, or unavailable. The service may enforce validation, time, response-size, concurrency, and rate limits.
